Alright, to create a line, grab that handy pen tool.
Then add some points to draw out a custom line that should have some curves.
Go to the shape layer, open it and add Trim paths.
For Trim Paths, add keyframes for start and end. Set the end to 0%.
Move forward and set both the start and end to 100%
Then just offset the start keyframes forward by a few frames.
Now you can create new lines and paste the trim paths to each line.
And now you have a creative line element for your motion graphics.
