In this video, we show you how to create and break simple monoalphabetic substitution (MASC) ciphers.
We present how encryption and decryption can be performed using CT2. Also, we present an attack (based on hill climbing) on the simple MASC implemented in CT2, which can be used to actually break simple MASC-encrypted messages within only a second.
