Lawmaker Questions P1.8B Pagcor TITO System Over Concerns of Transparency 💼

MANILA - AGHAM party-list Rep. Angelo Palmones questions the nearly P1.8 billion paper-based "ticket-in, ticket-out" system or TITO technology being used by the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation.<br /><br />Palmones said the deal is overpriced and disadvantageous to the government. <br /><br />In a letter to Pagcor Chairman Cristino Naguiat Jr., Palmones said the technology is unnecessary and already obsolete. <br /><br />Palmones has filed a resolution that sought a probe into the translation. <br /><br />PAGCOR officials have yet to comment on the issue. <br /><br />ANC HEADSTART, April 10, 2013
