Lauren Daigle's 'You Say' in a Piano & Cello Mashup 🎹🎻

In this emotionally resonant mashup, we explore the powerful contrast between two words that sound similar but mean opposites: "pathetic" and "Pathétique." While the world, or our own insecurities, might label us as "pathetic" (pitiful), this arrangement blends Lauren Daigle’s anthem of identity, "You Say," with Beethoven’s "Sonata Pathétique" (deeply meaningful and with feeling) to remind us of our true worth. Coincidentally, both Beethoven and Daigle were 27 years old when they wrote these respective masterpieces. Filmed amidst the stunning red rock canyons of our home state of Utah, this video required a massive physical effort, with a team carrying the grand piano up a natural rock staircase where no vehicle could go, mirroring the climb we all face to silence the naysayers and find our inner strength.
