Lady Gaga FIRES Back At Dr. Luke After He Subpoenas Her In Kesha Lawsuit

Although Kesha has been releasing new music, that doesn’t mean her legal battles against Dr. Luke are over. The two are still involved in a defamation lawsuit and Dr. Luke is looking to bring someone else into the mess to help his case and that someone is none other than Lady Gaga.
According to TMZ, Dr. Luke filed documents demanding Lady Gaga to sit in a three hour deposition with his own lawyers because a written statement that was previously submitted from Gaga was not good enough since the information was reportedly not useful.
In the subpoena documents obtained by the outlet, Dr. Luke wants Lady Gaga to talk about a very specific text conversation between herself and Kesha. The conversation in question is one where Kesha told Gaga she was abused by Luke supposedly told Gaga to join a quote-unquote smear campaign against Dr. Luke.
Dr. Luke’s lawyer made a statement regarding the matter over the weekend. They said QUOTE, “Dr. Luke’s counsel served a subpoena on Lady Gaga because she has relevant information regaruding, among other things, false statements about Dr. Luke made to her by Kesha. This motion has become necessary because Dr. Luke’s counsel has not been able to obtain, despite repeated request, a deposition date from Lady Gaga.”
Well, Dr. Luke can make all the demands he wants because Lady Gaga is not having it. Gaga actually responded to Luke’s subpoena through her representatives who told Variety QUOTE, “As Lady Gaga’s legal team will present to the court, she has provided all of the relevant information in her possession and is at most an ancillary witness in this process. Dr. Luke’s team is attempting to manipulate the truth and draw press attention to their case by exaggerating Lady Gaga’s role and falsey accusing her of dodging reasonable requests.” Yeah, Gaga is not playing around.
