The British Typex Cipher Machine Explained

We first discuss the components of the machine, its keyspace size and its unicity distance. Then, we use CrypTool 2 to encrypt and decrypt using the Typex component. Finally, we have a look at the "Virtual Typex", a really nice Typex simulator in the browser.
