Kaliya talks about his problems and his regret to Krishna. He tells the incident that put him in this situation. He had dared to fight with Garud- Vishnu's "wahan." Kaliya describes how he had forgotten how powerful Garud is compared to him. Gard had been on Kaliya's tail since their fight and had not allowed him to live in peace anywhere. Krishna reassures him that Grand won't bug him anymore as he has Krishna's footprints on his head now. Krishna tells him that he can go and live in the great ocean now on the condition that he won't harm anyone innocent.
