I’m not sure if it was when I started to brainstorm how to organize the kitchen better that I realized we didn’t need half the upper cabinets, or that once we removed half the kitchen cabinets, I needed to reorganize everything. Actually, I think it might have been when I mentioned organizing the spice cabinet over on Instagram and someone suggested a spice drawer. Things really went downhill from there 😂 Either way – the kitchen got a mini makeover a few weeks ago and then a complete organization overhaul, and it is SO MUCH more efficient now! One day, we’d love to tear the whole thing out and do a complete renovation. And maybe I already have the entire project planned out. Maybe. But we’re not quite ready to jump headfirst into it yet!

So, for now, I organized a few of the drawers and cabinets to help everything flow better. Every time I open a drawer or cabinet, I feel like I can breathe a sigh of relief – everything has a place and is easy to find! Granted, I may end up opening the spice drawer when I’m looking for a spatula, but give it some time and we’ll start to remember where everything is 😉
