As I am growing older <br />My fear for losing life is increasing <br />All the confidence I had in life <br />Is day by day decreasing <br />I feel am running out of time <br />And wasting even a moment seems like a crime <br /> <br />My better-half, I want to grow old with you <br />I cannot stay a single moment without you <br />I pray to Almighty <br />To give you one day extra life than me <br />So that I can spend my entire life with thee <br /> <br />My dear Children, I want to see you grow <br />Before God I bow <br />Begging for your welfare <br />Without which I would be left in despair <br /> <br />I pray for the betterness of all <br />And for the wellness of my loved ones <br />With every passing day <br />Anything owed to you I want to re-pay <br /> <br />Almighty I trust you and believe in you <br />As you are above All <br />Hope you will always walk with me <br />In my every rise and fall.<br /><br />Kavita Iyer<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/fear-471/
