Kaunas & Trakai: Lithuania's Hidden Gems 🇱🇹

Kaunas is the "second city" in Lithuania, and we really loved our visit! There is so much street art, nice places to eat, and amazing architecture to see while you are in Kaunas. We paid a visit to the world's ONLY Devil Museum. Yes, a museum dedicated completely to the devil.

The city was charming, the views were unforgettable, and we found plenty of tasty food. Kaunas is a good time.

Before leaving Kaunas, we paid a visit to one of the most sombering memorials we have seen in person. The Ninth Fort Memorial commemorates the victims of the Ninth Fort, a Nazi execution site for the Jews in the area. It is an awful piece of history, and such an important story to know and keep in mind.

We conclude this video (and our Lithuania trip) by visiting Trakai Castle. It's an amazingly beautiful castle on an island that has to be seen on any trip to the country. It's really close to Vilnius and would make a great day trip!
