Karnataka Elections: Congress MLA Akhanda Srinivas Murthy Resigns in Protest ✊

Expressing disappointment over his name not appearing on the candidate list, R Akhanda Srinivas Murthy resigned as Congress MLA on April 16 ahead of the Karnataka Assembly Polls. Murthy’s name did not make it on the first three lists of candidates that was issued by the party. He resigned as a Congress MLA from the Pulakeshinagar constituency.<br />
