Kannada Star Darshan Thoogudeepa and Pavithra Gowda Detained in Fan Murder Case 🔍

On June 11, 2024, Darshan Thoogudeepa was arrested for the murder of a 33-year-old man, reportedly his die-hard fan. The leading Kannada actor and Pavithra Gowda were placed in six-day police custody over the alleged murder of Renukaswamy from Chitradurga. According to some reports, Pavithra is referred to as Darshan's wife, while others describe her as his longtime girlfriend. Bengaluru Police Commissioner B Dayananda revealed that Renukaswamy was fatally attacked due to derogatory messages sent to Pavithra. Although initially termed as ‘detained’ for questioning, Karnataka Home Minister G Parameshwara later confirmed the arrest.<br />
