Justin Thomas Sets Career Best at THE PLAYERS 2026 ⛳

After missing the cut in his 2026 debut last week, Justin Thomas shot a 68 in the first round— the best opening round at THE PLAYERS of his career.

The Florida Swing reaches its centerpiece with the 52nd edition of The PLAYERS Championship at TPC Sawgrass. The PGA TOUR’s flagship event brings together the game’s biggest stars, including two-time champions Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy, with McIlroy returning as the defending champion after capturing the 2025 title in a playoff against J.J. Spaun. Former champions Adam Scott, Justin Thomas and Rickie Fowler are also back in the field. Fresh off his victory at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, Akshay Bhatia arrives with momentum after defeating Daniel Berger in a playoff at Bay Hill.
