Judaai (1997) - Romantic Drama with Anil Kapoor & Sridevi

Judaai (1997) is a romantic drama film directed by Raj Kanwar, starring Anil Kapoor as Raj Verma, Sridevi as Kaajal Verma, Urmila Matondkar as Jahnvi Sahni, Kader Khan as Kaajal's father, Farida Jalal as Kaajal's mother, Johnny Lever as Hiralal (Hari), Paresh Rawal as Hasmukhlal, Upasana Singh as Hasmukhlal's daughter/wife, Saeed Jaffrey as Mr. Sahni, Poonam Dhillon as Nisha (Guest Appearance).

The story revolves around Kaajal Verma, who marries Raj Verma under the assumption that he is wealthy and corrupt. However, she soon realizes that Raj is neither wealthy nor corrupt, which frustrates her. Kaajal lies to her wealthy friend Nisha, claiming that Raj is a business magnate.

When Jahnvi Sahni, Raj's boss's niece, learns about Raj and falls in love with him, she offers Kaajal 2 crore rupees to marry Raj. Seeing this as an opportunity to gain wealth, Kaajal accepts the proposal and forces Raj into the agreement. Reluctantly, Raj marries Jahnvi, and Kaajal divorces him herself, thinking they will share Raj happily.

Kaajal uses the money to buy a huge mansion and cars, but the mansion turns out to be Nisha's. In the end, Kaajal realizes the true cost of her greed and the value of love and family.
