Four days later, Jimi Hendrix closed the festival with one of the most legendary performances in rock history — a psychedelic, electrifying Star-Spangled Banner that became the anthem of a generation.
Jimi was the sound of a revolution… but just one year later, he joined the infamous 27 Club, gone at only 27 years old. Woodstock made him immortal, and decades later, his music still echoes through time.
