He single-handedly fought 300 Chinese soldiers for about 72 hours. Rifleman Jaswant Singh Rawat’s bravery saved Arunachal Pradesh from the Chinese. On the morning of November 17, 1962, around 5 o'clock, Chinese soldiers had launched an attack near Sela Top with the intention of capturing Arunachal Pradesh.
