Jammu Launches Extensive Sanitisation Campaign Amid Lockdown Easing

Jammu Municipal Corporation organised a massive sanitisation drive in the union territory. Due to rising Covid-19 cases, Jammu was under lockdown for nearly a month. Under this special drive, JMC has planned to sanitise all the micro containment zones of the UT. “Masks and social distancing are an important factor to fight Covid-19 but people should take care of environmental hygiene, JMC urge people to abandon waste only through garbage trucks and do not litter in the public places” Avny Lavasa, Commissioner of JMC told ANI.
