Israeli Defense Minister Confirms Attempt to Target Iran's Supreme Leader Khamenei During Iran Conflict

Israel's defence minister Israel Katz has confirmed reports that Tel Aviv was seeking to eliminate Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei amid the 12-day conflict. Katz told Channel 13 that Israel wanted to eliminate Khamenei but there were no operational opportunities. Benjamin Netanyahu's minister also clarified on reports claiming that Donald Trump rejected Israel's plans to assassinate the Iranian ruler.
