Days after Hindu monk Chinmoy Krishna Das was arrested and charged with sedition in Bangladesh, ISKCON's Gauranga Das addressed the issue. Tensions escalated further when two monks, attempting to deliver medicines to Chinmoy in jail, were arrested by Bangladesh police. Although Dhaka has not officially confirmed the arrests, the Bangladesh Sammilito Sanatani Jagaron Jot has verified the incident, raising concerns about the treatment of Hindus and religious leaders in Bangladesh.
