In 2014, ISIS made global headlines by conquering large parts of Iraq and Syria, proclaiming a caliphate. After years of global efforts, this "terrorist state" was crushed in 2019. But now, in 2024, ISIS is rising again—this time, not in West Asia, but in West Africa. 🌍🔥
