Als unangenehme Kabarettistin hatte sie keine Achtung vor den Größen des Nazi-Regimes und wurde schließlich in jahrelange Sippenhaft genommen, um nach dem Krieg, dessen erschütternde Eindrücke sie zu Gott finden ließen, ein Leben als Ordensschwester zu führen.
