Is Sergei Ponomarenko a Real-Life Time Traveler? The 2006 Kyiv Mystery ⌛

In 2006, police in Kyiv stopped a confused man dressed like he was from the 1950s. He said his name was Sergei Ponomarenko, and claimed he was born in 1932. He said he had seen a strange flying object back in 1958, and suddenly found himself in the modern world.

What’s even weirder?
He was carrying a 1950s-era camera — and when the film was developed, it showed old photos of Kyiv, including pictures of Sergei and his fiancée.

Sergei was taken to a psychiatric hospital for observation…
But days later, he vanished without a trace. Security footage showed him walking down a hallway — then disappearing into thin air.

Some records even claim a man named Sergei Ponomarenko really went missing in 1958.

Coincidence? Or proof of time travel?
