DC Studios is an American film and television production company that is a division of Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD). It is responsible for the production of live-action and animated films and television series, as well as video games, based on characters from the American comic book publisher DC Comics, primarily as part of its flagship media franchise and shared universe, the DC Universe (DCU). The studio has been led by writer/director James Gunn and producer Peter Safran as its co-chairmen and co-CEOs since it was formed in November 2022.

Marvel Studios, LLC, formerly known as Marvel Films, is an American film and television production company. Kal-El, legally named Clark Joseph Kent, is the last son of the House of El and the only son of scientists Jor-El and Lara Lor-Van, who, after fleeing from the destruction of the planet Krypton as an infant and arriving on Earth, was discovered and subsequently adopted by a couple of farmers, Jonathan and Martha Kent, raised in the small rural farming town of Smallville, Kansas. After discovering his Kryptonian heritage, he decided to use his array of superhuman powers and the moral principles instilled by his adoptive parents to fight crime and protect the people of the city of Metropolis as the world's most powerful superhero known as Superman. As a superhero, Superman formed alliances with fellow superheroes such as the local LordTech sponsored superhero team the Justice Gang and his cousin Supergirl while working at the Daily Planet in his civilian life, where he befriended his co-worker Jimmy Olsen and fell in love with reporter Lois Lane, who soon became aware of his alter ego as they began a loving yet troubled dating relationship.

Christopher Clyde "Chris" Smith is a violent vigilante and a founding member of the 11th Street Kids who earned the name Peacemaker by previously vowing to achieve peace at any cost, no matter how many people he has to kill in the process, swearing a vow to do so after accidentally causing the death of his older brother Keith Smith, and the son of the deceased criminal racist and abuser, Auggie Smith, who trained him to kill since his childhood and physically abused him after Keith's death. Adopting an eagle named Eagly and befriending Vigilante, Smith spent years killing criminals without remorse in the name of peace.

Guy Darrin Gardner, also known as Green Lantern, is a human member of the Green Lantern Corps and self-proclaimed leader of the Justice Gang. While protecting Metropolis, Gardner and the team constantly collaborated with the superhero Superman before he entered into worldwide controversies due to the mission entrusted by his parents to conquer the Earth, causing Gardner to refuse to help save him within Lex Luthor's Pocket Universe due to his oath. After witnessing Jarhanpur's cry for help from Superman to face the Boravian Armed Forces, Gardner and the Justice Gang, inspired by the hero, decided to stop the war between nations.
