Skoda’s revamped and facelifted Enyaq range is the Czech marque’s strongest play against the rapidly expanding mainstream electric SUV and crossover segment that includes Tesla Model Y and BYD Sealion 7.

It debuts Skoda’s new Modern Solid design language and kicks off from a low $51K pricepoint in what is now a more practical wagon-centric line-up.

Here on test is the goldilox variant in the 85 Sportline wagon, priced from $59,990 before on roads. It’s powered by a 210kW and 545Nm single rear motor, housed in a European designed and built alternative package to the usual array of Chinese-made alternatives.
