About this video
Here's how you could spend three days in Helsinki:
The most common image most people have when they think of visiting Finland is the breathtaking winter landscape of Lapland, isn't that right? (guilty!)🙈😂 But what if it's not winter when you visit? Are there other Finnish destinations you could go to?
Yes, there are, Helsinki! Most people don't know how great Helsinki is. Its quirky attractions and unique vibe make it a great city to explore.
And the great thing is you don't need many days to explore this lovely city, which makes it worth visiting. Three days is enough in my opinion to see the whole city.
DAY 1:
☑️ Eat at Old Market Hall and Ride the Skywheel
☑️ See the Uspenski Cathedral
☑️ stroll the esplanade
☑️ Helsinki Cathedral
☑️ Walk Around Helsinki’s South Harbour
☑️ Helsinki Central Station
☑️ Check Out the New Oodi Library (quite close to the central station)
☑️ Senate Square & National Library of Finland
☑️ Sample Chocolates at Karl Fazer Cafe
DAY 2:
☑️ Hearty Finnish Breakfast
☑️ Venture to Helsinki’s Design District (must-see!)
☑️ Have coffee at ANDANTE Coffee Shop or Relove second hand & cafe
☑️ Suomenlinna Fortress (it's highly recommended)
☑️ Have Lunch at Allas Sea Pool
☑️ Visit Market Square
☑️ Go For a Refreshing Sauna Visit. ( this is something traditional in Finland.
☑️ Have a traditional Finnish Dinner
DAY 3:
☑️ Always start with breakfast; there are plenty of places to eat from almost everywhere... Helsinki is a walkable city, so you'll need the energy)
☑️ Explore Helsinki’s Green Spaces
☑️ Have Fun at Helsinki Zoo & Linnanmäki Amusement Park
☑️ Explore the City Museum & The Museum of Finnish Architecture
☑️ Stroll the colourful Huvilakatu Street
☑️ Dinner & Drinks
