iPhone 17 6-Month Review: My Honest Experience 📱

Today, I’m sitting down to share my honest, day-to-day experiences with the base iPhone 17 after having it for 6 months. For the first three months, this Lavender beauty was my absolute daily driver, and now it serves as my trusty secondary phone (since my main is the 17 Pro).

Apple really blurred the lines between the base and Pro models this year. With the addition of that incredible 120Hz ProMotion display, the super-efficient A19 chip, and the fun new 18MP wide-angle front camera, the base iPhone 17 feels like an absolute steal.

But it's not perfect for everyone. In this video, we'll talk through the huge design and display upgrades, real-world battery life, gaming performance on iOS 26, and a couple of downsides (like the lack of a telephoto lens and slow USB-C speeds) to help you figure out if you should buy or upgrade to the iPhone 17 this year.
