About this video
A woman told she has just two per cent chance of surviving after being diagnosed with cancer for the third time has wowed the judges on America’s Got Talent.
Singer Jane Marczewski who performs under the name Nightbirde, impressed Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum and Sofia Vergara with her original song “It’s OK.”
The 30-year-old, who said she has “some cancer in my lungs, spine and liver,” sang about her health battle before being awarded a coveted ‘golden buzzer.’
“It’s important that everyone knows that I’m so much more than the bad things that happen to me,” she said.

After a spine-tingling standing ovation from the audience, Mandel called her performance “the most authentic thing this season.”
Vergara called it “powerful and heartfelt,” and Klum said Nightbirde’s voice gave her “chills.”
Notoriously stern Cowell choked up while speaking to the singer, saying her song “really got to me.”
“There was something about that song after you casually just told us what you are going through,” he said, holding back tears.
“There have been some great singers this year and I’m not going to give you a yes, I’m going to give you something else.”
Cowell hit his Golden Buzzer, which advances Nightbirde directly past auditions to the live shows in the reality competition.
The audition has since gone viral with millions of views online.
During an interview on Sunrise, Nightbirde said she “could never have imagined” the global response to the heartwarming clip.
“When the confetti fell, I was the only woman in the universe and that moment lasted what felt like hours,” she said of her audition.
“The singer, who is still battling cancer, said she loves writing songs as “it is the only way that I know how to make sense of the bad things that happen to me sometimes.”
“It’s a way to cash in a bad thing that I’ve been given and get something better from it, that’s why I write,” she said.
