Inside Celina Jaitly’s Rs 50 Cr Domestic Violence Case

Bollywood actress Celina Jaitly has filed a domestic violence case against her husband, Austrian businessman Peter Haag, in a Mumbai court. The petition, filed on 21 November 2025, accuses Haag of emotional, physical, sexual and verbal abuse over several years. Celina is seeking ₹50 crore in compensation for loss of earnings and long-term harm, along with ₹10 lakh per month in maintenance. She has also requested a restraining order and access or custody of their three children, who currently live with Haag in Austria.

The couple married in 2010–2011 and became parents to twin boys in 2012 and another set of twins in 2017, one of whom passed away due to a heart condition. Celina says her work was heavily restricted after motherhood and alleges that Haag controlled her finances and properties, including her Mumbai home. She claims she was forced to leave Austria due to fear and stress. The court has issued a notice to Haag, and the next hearing is scheduled for December 2025.
