This research contribution discussed and analyzed a novel
LSB based steganographic information-theoretic secure solution
to facilitate not only the inveil communication but also to
ensure the security of data whether in transit or at rest in the
purview of cloud computing persistent data storage services.
Though the service providers undertake the protection of data,
yet the gray areas such as proxies regarding data retention
may not be ignored or overruled. The effectiveness of the
proposed algorithm lies in the uncertainty in predicting the
original length and positioning of the hidden bits by virtue of
which the cover image may repeatedly be used when supported
by a genuinely random bit generating source in addition to a
sufficiently large stego-key. An implicit take away from this
research is that the data security of LSB based steganography
lies in disconnecting the one-to-one mapping between the
secret message bits and that of the LSBs of the target cover.
