Okay, we have the background of our scene and a foreground object. All we need to do is loop the movement of the background.
I’m going to drag and drop my background into a new composition. And then apply the motion tile effect to it. I’ll then keyframe the tile center to animate some movement. This will also repeat & loop the background.
And the important, Be sure to check mirror edges to create a seamless cut.
Now you can drag and drop this composition into your main project and now we have a loopable edit in After Effects.
