Indian Science Congress: Science vs. Anti-Science

D.Raghunandan, President, All India Peoples Science Network, discusses the fantastic claims made at the 102nd Indian Science Congress in Pune by Hindutva votaries regarding science in ancient India. Indian contributions to science are well known and Indians do not need fake claims or imaginary expertise to feel proud. Myths and legends cannot be taken as proof, and knowledge in complex subjects like aviation would surely also have left other evidence. If mythical imaginings are equated with evidence-based science, then science itself is being seriously undermined in favour of faith and beliefs.
