hashing is the process to convert user input text into hashed text using the hashing algorithm.
well known examples of hashing algorithms available in PHP are-md5, sha1, sha256, sha512, ripemd128, ripemd256, tiger128, snefru, gost, adler32, crc32, joaat, fnv132, fnv164, whirlpool, haval128.

Incremental hashing implemented using : hash_init( ) function
hash_update( ) function and hash_final( ) function.
in this tutorial; user input is converted into hash value and length of hsh text is calculated.
