Did you notice this in The Amazing Digital Circus? Jax might be the next one to abstract… and the reason comes from a single moment in the latest episode. Let me explain! At the start of episode 6, Gangle admits she struggles to accept her flaws, but Zooble comforts her, saying she needs to love even the rough parts of herself because they’re real. That’s why Gangle hasn’t abstracted yet — Zooble keeps her grounded in her humanity. Jax, on the other hand, tells Pomni to embrace her lack of humanity, to act more like a cartoon character and to forget what makes her human. That mindset is dangerous. Abstraction is what happens when someone loses their sanity and someones sense of self is an important factor… Sadly, Jax has been slowly losing his and he is hiding it from others. The only bit of humanity left in him is his friendship with Pomni, which he constantly tries to push away. He is trying to suppress his only bit of humanity left to fully embody his archetype.
