ICW 2018: Reynu Taandon Debunks the Myth: Designers Are Family-Oriented Even During Monsoon 🌧️

About this video

Designer Reynu Taandon says that during the monsoon season, comfort is very important regardless of whatever you wear and she doesn’t understand why people have a notion that fashion designers can’t be family oriented.
Taandon’s collection at the penultimate show of India Couture Week 2018 was titled ‘Once Upon A Dream’ and had Bollywood actress Yami Gautam as the showstopper.
“When I design my collection, my designing starts with the music. What happens when I am thinking of a young girl, who is modern but she hasn’t forgotten her Indian soul. So during the show when the models are wearing cocktail dresses there is narration with English music explaining what it is all about,” said Taandon, explaining her collection.
