Angel Ndlela Opens Up About Love 💖

This week on The In’s Podcast, Angel Ndlela let her guard down and people has never heard her like this.

Jack took the conversation to the deep end, and Angel followed with honesty that broke all of us. She cried as she spoke about love, and the loneliness behind the spotlight.

She said: “Ngyalifisa uthando but angilazi. I wish for love, but I don’t know it. Because real love doesn’t kill you, doesn’t hate you, and doesn’t do what we see happening to our sisters and brothers every day.”

From being called Umnyamana, to fixing her teeth three times hoping she’d finally feel “enough,” to building a skincare brand out of pain Angel opened up fully.

She shared the loneliness behind the camera:
“When the director says ‘cut,’ I don’t have anyone asking, ‘Babe, are you okay?’”

She’s tired of being a “boss lady,” tired of grinding alone, tired of carrying everything.
“I just want to be a real housewife for once.”

A safe space for women in Durban doesn’t exist but Angel said she found one here.
