Aboard Qatar Airways’ Boeing 787 Dreamliner for a mid-haul 5-hour journey to Doha Hamad International Airport. The cabin layout was a 1–2–1 configuration, giving every passenger direct aisle access and a sense of privacy that feels more long-haul than regional.

What stood out most was the service. The crew embodied what Qatar is known for—genuine hospitality, warmth, and attention to detail. From the moment I settled in, they kept offering snacks without asking: Arabic coffee and dates, premium chips, roasted nuts—it felt curated, not routine.

The inflight dining was another highlight. For a 5-hour flight, the menu was surprisingly expansive—over 12 dishes to choose from, across appetizers, mains, and desserts. The quality held up, and the variety felt more international than regional. Wines and champagnes were all from top-tier labels—impressive for a flight of this length.

One letdown: no Starlink or high-speed Wi-Fi onboard yet. Would’ve been the perfect setup to stay connected, especially with the modernity of the Dreamliner.
