Kareena Kapoor Shares Her Unique Take on Karva Chauth 🍽️

While many women would be fasting and praying for their husband's long life today, on the auspicious occasion of Karva Chauth, the Begum of Pataudi Kareena Kapoor, who recently celebrated her first wedding anniversary, with husband Saif Ali Khan won't be fasting today. <br /> <br />Kareena claims that she doesn't need to go hungry for a day to prove her love for her husband. At an event, when Bebo was asked if she'll be fasting on Karva Chauth, she said, "All the women will be starving but I'll be eating. I don't need to starve to prove my love for my husband. I'm a Kapoor I can't live without food." <br /> <br />When asked if she'll be buying any jewellery for the occasion, she said, "I don't think there is a particular day for women to buy jewellery. A woman is ready to buy jewellery morning, noon and night, any given day, any given point. Of course festivities are near but I don't think I need a particular event to buy something if I like something, I think I'll just pick it up." <br /> <br />Kareena tied the knot with Saif on October 16, 2012.
