About this video
US President Donald Trump has threatened to potentially rip up a historic trade deal with the UK as relations with Britain strain over the war in Iran.
President Trump suggested the trade agreement with the UK “can always be changed” as Britain refuses to join the war in the Middle East.
UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer responded to the “pressure” coming from America with a defiant message.
“It is not our war. A lot of pressure has been applied to me to take a different course, and that pressure included what happened last night,” he said.
“I’m not going to change my mind. I’m not going to yield. It is not in our national interest to join this war, and we will not do so. I know where I stand.”
