Finally Own My Dream House! 🏠

As someone who has been traveling the world for the past 10 years now, buying a house wasn’t even a dream I dreamt. My biggest aspirations have always been about travel - chasing mad experiences, meeting amazing people, exploring crazy parts of the world.

But in 2024, it all changed when my mom uttered the golden words - “There’s never a good time to buy a house”. And it’s so true!! It’s never going to be easy, so my brother @aniketkumar9504 and I jumped right in. We bought this dreamy 4 bedroom villa in a gated community tucked away from Bangalore’s maddening traffic - a little slice of serene heaven. 🧿

When we started doing the interiors, left to myself, I would’ve just rented a bed and bought a Godrej cupboard, the push that made me actually explore the creative side came when @shalinikunam came into our lives. She’s our neighbour, an interior designer and owner of @houz_arts and more than anything - a dear, dear friend. She took this up as “her house” and worked tirelessly for 4 months transforming it into our “home”.

None of this would’ve been possible without @madhavi.kumar and @25ramendra . They’re our parents, our rocks, our biggest critics and our fiercest supporters. It’s rare for a brother-sister duo to buy a house together but I wouldn’t have it anyyyy other way @aniketkumar9504 . At such a young age we managed to do something so huge and all credit goes to US - our hardwork, our love for what we do and our respect for each other. ❤️

I will be remiss if I didn’t mention all YOU guys, my followers- your relentless love and constant encouragement has made all my dreams (travel and otherwise) come true. Thank you from the core of my heart. ❤️
