A true changemaker, Sudha Murty is the Chairperson of Infosys Foundation and a pioneer in both social work and literature. She was India’s first female engineer at TELCO and has since dedicated decades to improving education, healthcare, and rural development across the country. She has written over 30 books in English and regional languages, known for their heartfelt simplicity and deep moral insight.

In 2024, she was nominated to the Rajya Sabha on International Women’s Day, an acknowledgment of her lifelong commitment to nation-building and empowerment. She is also a recipient of the Padma Bhushan and Padma Shri, two of India’s highest civilian honors.
