Hunt: GDP figures positive but inflation still a big issue

New GDP figures showing a 0.2 per cent growth in the UK economy demonstrate an “underlying resilience”, according to Jeremy Hunt – though the chancellor warned the country still has a “big issue” with inflation. <br /> <br />Mr Hunt said: “We have to do everything we can as a government, as a country, to support the Bank of England in their mission to squeeze inflation out of the system, and that is our primary focus.” Report by Buseld.
