Addressing EV Fire Misinformation 🔥

Last weekend, a news story broke showing a Tesla Model Y in flames after its owner said the car displayed error messages and then caught fire.

Particularly worrying was the claim that the car had locked its doors, forcing the driver to break the glass to escape. Until the incident report has been published, we won't know for sure what went on, but here at the channel, we felt it was important to tackle some of the erroneous reporting on this incident - as well as provide some important facts and figures to help tackle EV fire misinformation..
