Are you a beginner Arduino user looking for LED animation effects? These 8x8 LED displays are a great choice, but only if you can get them to work. In this video I show you the single 8x8 Display (my last video was the 4 in 1 LED matrix). We go through how to install the LED matrix library you will need for your Arduino IDE. We make the simple connections using the proper jumper wires and mention some troubleshooting ideas in case you get stuck along the way. This 8x8 LED matrix is great for beginners. The LED display looks very nice and bright when lit up. Once you load the example code onto your Arduino Uno, you can change the code to suit your project, if necessary. Overall, I think this will be a great Arduino project for beginners. Have fun!
