About this video
Watch this video on how to set the Rolex GMT Master II watch.
This particular model is a 2015 BLNR, also know as the "Rolex Batman" due to it's two tone black and blue bezel. You can see a full review on the watch here: https://bespokeunit.com/rolex-batman-gmt-master-ii/
How to set the watch:
1) First unscrew the crown
2) Wind the watch if not already done so
3) First set the GMT & minutes hand by pulling the crown all the way out. Many people like to set the GMT hand to true Greenwich Mean Time, as the "true reference point" of time
4) Now you can set both the hour hand and date, there is no quick set date but the hour hand "jumps" so it's relatively fast
5) Once the watch is set, make sure the crown is screwed back in to make sure the watch is protected against the elements and water
A little more about the watch:
1) The watch was first developed by Rolex & Pan Am Airways to make it easier for pilots to "keep track" of times while crossing many time zones as international flight become more common
2) The first production year of the watch was 1954
3) The Rolex BLNR shown in this video was the first ever bi-color ceramic bezel ever created!
4) It's possible to track up-to three times zones on the watch if you also utilize the bi-directional bezel
