Save $6,960 with the Best Ikea Hack 🏡

This is the best Ikea hack I've ever found, and I absolutely had to try it because my small home office / home studio / nail rooms in desperate need of some storage space. Everything used to be on the floor but we painted, added new flooring, and installed these gorgeous Ikea bookcases that were inspired by @rachmartino (https://www.tiktok.com/@rachmartino?lang=en) and the Anthropologie Fern Cabinet, just without the huge price tag. Here's what I used, make sure to measure your room and adjust accordingly:) And if you're painting the Billy Bookcases, don't get the birch because it costs more and will just get covered up, and if you're using a dark color like I am try and get the darker cabinets (the Charlotte Ikea didn't have any at the time I did this).

What You Need:

- Drywall screws and anchors to secure it to the wall / to each other
- Wood glue (we glued the Billy extensions to the shelves)
- 1/2 sanded plywood for the arches (we made a custom template and used the string method)
