How to Restore Your iPhone if You Forgot Your Passcode

You can use recovery mode to restore your iPhone or iPad if you've forgotten your passcode.

To access the recovery mode, you need a computer and a cable to connect your iPhone to the computer. If you don't have a computer, you'll need to borrow one.

It must be turned off, though, before you may connect it. Holding the side button will allow you to connect the device.

Using iTunes or the Finder window on your computer, you can restore your iPhone.

Everything will be erased as a result, however, you can restore everything using a backup.

You cannot restore the deleted data if you don't have a PC backup or an iCloud backup.
