How to Obtain Free Windows 10 Extended Support
Microsoft has announced free extended security updates for Windows 10 consumers, acknowledging many users are delaying their upgrade to newer versions.

Microsoft just announced free extended security updates for consumers 😤
It seems Microsoft realized a ton of people are not going to switch over to Windows 11 as soon as they hoped. So they've given a free option to get the "Extended Security Updates" for a year. The only requirement is that when you initially enroll for the updates, you're signed into a Microsoft account with your Windows settings synced. I think this is so that they can associate the enrollment with your account in addition to the computer itself, so you can re-apply it if you reformat or something. Anyway I show you how the tool works to get the updates, which is currently only in early Insider builds, but will be rolling out to everyone in the coming weeks.
