Install VMware Tools on Kali Linux (VMware Workstation 12)

VMware Tools is a suite of utilities that improves the usability of the Virtual machine, in this case Kali Linux.

VMWare tools will allows you to do such things as:

- Make your Kali linux VM full screen.
- Copy and paste from your Kali Linux machine to your host
machine.
- You will not have to realease the cursor to exit the VM in VmWare.


This tutorial describes the process needed to install VMware tools on Kali Linux. The commands that you need to follow along with this tutorial are:

apt-get update
apt-get upgrade
init 6
apt-get install open-vm-tools-desktop fuse
