How to Install Node.js and NPM on Windows 8 / Windows 10.

In this tutorial, I will show how you can set up a Node.js environment on Windows 10, and I’ll checkout and run the project I'm currently working on (which depends on koa, pg, amqplib and other modules).

Note, that the primary focus right now is just setting up a developer environment for a Node.js project, not running one. I will cover deployment to Azure later, but that is beyond the scope of this post.

This tutorial will apply for computers, laptops, desktops,and tablets running the Windows 8/10 operating system (Home, Professional, Enterprise, Education) from all supported hardware manufactures, like Dell, HP, Acer, Asus, Toshiba,Lenovo, and Samsung).
