About this video
For feedback and business queries, please email us at suviganu@gmail.com
This video is about finding the R and S Configuration of new classes of unique compounds Namely,
1. Allenes
2. Biphenyls
3. Spiranes
4. Binaphthyl Compounds
5. Ansa Compounds
6. Admantanes
7. Cyclophanes compounds
8. Helicenes (Spiral compounds)
9. Cyclooctenes
These compounds have chirality without any chiral centre. Normally point chirality or usual chirality is known for R and S configuration, But here you will learn
1. Point Chirality (0 Dimension, Chiral center )
2. Axial Chirality (1 Dimension)
3. Plane Chirality (2 Dimension)
4. Spiral or Helical Chirality (3 Dimension)
Since it has many different chiralities, new kind of method is required for identifying the chirality and we discussed it as step by step method. The configuration can be represented as R and S or P and M Configuration. This video also helps, How you can find P and M Configuration of the compounds ?
